Meet our Support Analysts
FabTrol Systems' experienced support analysts help resolve all kinds of real-world shop and operations issues and are each dedicated to providing fast, effective solutions to your inquiries. Charlie Dahl
Charlie came to FabTrol in 2004 with Microsoft and Cisco certifications, a background in Microsoft product training for Wordlink, a Microsoft subsidiary, and in network administration for Charles Schwab. Now, odds are high that when you call technical support or attend a training at our Eugene training center, you’ll get the benefit of Charlie’s tech savvy and years of experience helping fabricators get the most out of FabTrol software. After traveling a lot with his family in his youth, Charlie went to high school in the San Francisco area and later attended California State University in Chico. He enjoys playing with his St. Bernard dogs, cycling, riding motorcycles and working on his new house in the country with his wife. Wade Frisendahl
Wade came to FabTrol in June of 2012 with a background in RV manufacturing as a Regional Sales Manager. He has been in customer service, support roles and sales for 20 + years in industries that include retail, wWholesale, banking, and telecommunications. Wade has lived in Oregon most of his life and enjoys spending time with his Blue Heeler running after work and on the weekends. He also enjoys spending time out on the river or lake fishing, golfing or just about anything to be out enjoying the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
Neil Lee
Neil, in our FabTrol Systems' UK office, brings decades of experience in steel fabrication to his work as a support analyst and implementation specialist. He started out in steel detailing on a drawing board, eventually becoming manager of the drawing office of a major UK steelwork contractor. In the early 1990s, he worked as part of the team that brought Tekla Structures—then Xsteel—to market, helping manage worldwide software support and implementation. Now, Neil works with FabTrol customers in over 10 countries. When not supporting FabTrol customers, Neil enjoys collecting antique porcelain and helping keep his three young grandkids amused with trips to the park, zoo and the local theme park. Doug Wirth
Doug brings a diverse background in technology to his work as a FabTrol Systems' support analyst. Early in his high-tech career, Doug worked as a telecommunications consultant for several large companies. Before coming to FabTrol Systems in 2005, Doug was the office manager and a support analyst—read jack-of-all trades—for one of the first local Internet service providers in the Eugene area. And Doug has had his hand in construction too—not steel, but stone. As a young man, he spent two-and-a-half years in Italy helping restore a 12th century fortified village. Now, he works to build good relationships with the fabricators who call in, saying he particularly enjoys debugging complicated problems that require research to resolve. |
