Senior QA Engineer

Location: Downtown Eugene, Oregon
Compensation: DOE

Your responsibilities will start with QA activities. For this you will need the ability and interest in becoming a power-user of our very deep, powerful and highly user-customizable software package. An aptitude for understanding complex data relationships under the hood and user workflows is required. You will work closely with the product owner to understand and clarify software requirements. You will participate in a highly iterative and collaborative software development process with a small team of dedicated developers and QA professionals.

Additionally you will take responsibility for our development operations infrastructure. To this end, experience with or eagerness to learn, Subversion, CCNet, Python, IIS, Visual Studio, Wix, SQL and Red Gate is required.

Sales Account Manager

Location: Downtown Eugene, Oregon
Compensation: DOE

FabTrol Systems, Inc., the global leader of steel fabrication management software, is looking to expand our sales team in order to promote our state-of-the-art products to steel fabrication shops within the US. You will join a high integrity team that works diligently every day to bring return on investment to our valued customer base – from small, specialized fabrication shops to the nation’s leading steel fabricators with multi-site, enterprise-level systems.

To be considered, you must have some experience in the steel fabrication industry with the ability to understand customer’s business interests and align the value of FabTrol’s software and services to their unique objectives. B2B sales experience is highly desired but not required; however, you should enjoy managing a multi-step, customer-focused process where you can discover potential customers, lead them through a needs analysis, and match them to a solution that increases their profitability and competitiveness through technology. You’ll report to the Sales & Marketing Manager and collaborate with other account managers and the management team, leveraging your knowledge and experience to deliver sales and great customer satisfaction.

This position will require direct customer communication, public presentation, and a team-focused approach. Strong steel fabrication business acumen, market knowledge and customer focus are keys to success.

Essential job functions summary

  • Ability to work towards your objective with minimal direction, as an organized, self-motivated, hard-working problem-solver
  • Understand the customers’ business and business goals, resulting in product/service recommendations that contribute to customer’s growth and competitiveness
  • Have a passion for technology and learning new things; and likewise, a willingness to bring back industry feedback to product management team
  • Understand and utilize all steps of the sales cycle, including but not limited to, the research meeting, product demonstration, value analysis and proposal
  • Proficient in communicating product knowledge and how it relates to the industries we serve
  • Provide updates in the company CRM and report regularly on your opportunity pipeline
  • Apply interpersonal skills to ensure teamwork across organizational boundaries and demonstrate leadership abilities, as needed, to achieve business goals
  • Travel to customer locations across the US
  • Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and customer trends
